Meet bubbleboo

Take one mum {that would be me}… one Chipmunk {my dearest, darling boy}… and the ups and downs of life living with autism {small ‘a’ please}. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad – often completely off-topic!

As the single-parent of a child with high-functioning autism – and as an adult with the same condition – bubbleboo {a.k.a. Hannah} has extensive experience to draw on as far as special educational needs are concerned. Over the last two years, Hannah has had to become a self-appointed autism advocate: Blogging, making valuable contacts – and learning to appreciate the little victories!

Before becoming her son’s full-time carer, Hannah was studying for her nursing degree. She made it to her final year before her son’s needs became evident. He is now known to have various physical disabilities, as well as the autism, and needs much input to fulfill his potential.

Away from the SEN arena, Hannah is a keen (recently published) writer {check out The Writer’s Bubble} and is enjoying indulging her new-found passion for natural light photography, which will eventually – she hopes – become her main source of income. You can find out more at bubblebooPhotography.
