Once upon a time, there was a blogger. This blogger, however, had a slight problem. She kept forgetting to blog.
She was aware that as a blogger, blogging was a fairly important requirement. She was also aware that, as part of several blogging communities, blogging was more or less expected.
But try as she might, she just could not summon up any motivation whatsoever. Nothing. Zip. Nada.
It wasn’t even as if she had nothing to say. She had lots to say! Several posts started, but left unfinished. Notes jotted on various bits of paper, ideas hastily scribbled in journals – and never transferred. The ideas came, the light-bulb went on, but there was no energy left to get the posts written.
*Sigh*
Ack! I really have neglected the blog this week – I even missed The Gallery on Wednesday (sorry, Tara!). Maybe it was all the pink champagne from the party last Monday…!
You guys have all been so great – thanks so much for your lovely messages on my blogoversary – I hope you all enjoyed the cupcakes! Unfortunately, I seem to have mislaid my motivation this week. Oh, who am I kidding? My motivation ran away and took cover months ago! I am working on it though, I promise you.
And on the plus side, I have new hair:

I’m going back to the doc today to see if my meds need tweaking…or failing that, to ask if he can magic me up some energy from the bag under his desk.
I’ll let you know the outcome.

***HUG*** I feel your pain, Hannah! I feel like I haven’t had anything decent to write in ages, too. You’ve got a lot of pans in the fire right now, though, so don’t fret over letting things slide for a bit. I think it’s better to do that than burn completely out.
Love the new hair! You look fierce
Nice to have you back on the comment bit David – you’ve been quiet for far too long!!! x
I love your hair! It looks great. I’m fairly new to this blogging gig. I’ve been blogging for about 6 months. I imagine the blahs hit everyone eventually when it comes to blogging. It good that you have topics to write on. Maybe you just need a little vacation to get the motivation back!
