Very exciting times for you and Chipmunk. He has been doing really well in a lot of areas lately, maybe being separated from his best friend will not be horrible. He might get some comfort knowing she is next door if he needs her, but at the same time he just might be able to learn how to resolve some situations for himself. I know you are worried and I would be too. Just try and think of some positive outcomes to the separation and it might help you worry less.
