Feline Friday Week Five: Look at Me!

It’s that time of the week again.

Yes, I know I am running late – shush!

Anyway, it’s Feline Friday time!

You will be pleased to know that Kitty is feeling much better this week. He says many thanks for all your kind words, but please don’t expect a personal reply. He’s a cat, after all, and has much more important things to do. Like sleeping.

Perfect! Use your imagination – get your kids involved! This meme is all about having fun. Oh, and the cats. Mustn’t forget the cats!

With that out of the way, I have a prompt for you this week: Showing Off. What weird and wonderful things does your cat do to grab your attention when they are feeling ignored? Do they turn into supermodels as soon as the camera comes out? Do they pose, strut and otherwise make eyes at the lens? We need to see it!

I got my toy out yesterday to find something to photograph for my daily Blip. No sooner had the lens cap come off, than Kitty appeared.

O Hai! You seem to have a camera there. I presume you were about to call me?

See how my whiskers glow? Aren’t they so pretty?!

He is such a poser!

He copped a strop when I walked away to photograph something else. When I brought the camera back in to upload the pictures, he was all over it!

In case you missed the update last week…

Kitty went to the vet on Friday, who shaved part of his tail and realised that he had been bitten. He has four puncture wounds from the canine teeth of another animal, two on the top of his tail, and two underneath. These wounds have abscessed, hence the pain. The vet bathed them, gave him a painkiller and antibiotic injections, and a course of antibiotics to take at home. Now, we just keep hoping and praying that they work.

He seems better in himself already, which is great news!
