Today, I am handing over the reins to a guest blogger – eek! Actually no, that’s unfair! Chrissie, from Mediocre Mum, is a wonderful writer – and a really nice lady to boot! Please be sure to leave her some nice comments so she knows you enjoyed her post. Thanks to Erica from Littlemummy.com for organising the whole shebang – I’ll let Chrissie take it from here…
Firstly, I would like to thank Erica from Littlemummy.com for organising Guest Post Day. What a great idea! Of course, I also need to thank bubbleboo for allowing me to squat post on her lovely blog. She may regret this!
So, without further ado, may I introduce the Picture Puzzle Meme. It’s simple really; all you need to do is to identify the connection <cue evil laugh>. Then pop over and see me at Mediocre Mum to see how you did. Good luck!
As usual, I like to make memes open to everyone. However, if you decide to do it please let me know so I can link back to you. The possibilities are endless; Book, Nursery Rhyme, Colour, Famous People, Special Occasion, Historical Event, Country, Transport…..
You don’t have to, but I’ve used Google Picasa 3 and copyright-free images from Flickr to create my Picture Puzzle. To find copyright-free images using Flickr choose ‘Advanced Search‘, scroll down and select ‘Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content’. Then save the images to your machine as you normally would. It’s also a good practice to give credit by linking back to the owner of the photo.
If you’re not familiar with Picasa, it’s free and easy photo editing software. There is a nice introduction here.
It’s been nice to meet you all – do say hello, and thanks again to bubbleboo!
Cheers,
@mediocre_mum
Thanks Chrissie! The Picture Puzzle is too cool for me not to have a go too. Here’s mine:
I’ll post the answer on Monday, to give you time to slowly drive yourselves nuts over the weekend! And don’t forget to hop over to Mediocre Mum, and add her to your reader (and check out my guest post on her blog too, naturally!

Chrissie – I cheated and looked at the answer after not deliberating for very long at all! It definitely makes sense though…funny how knowing the answer pulls everything together!
